Review:
Xavier totally redeemed himself in this book. I was concerned, but the author totally changed my mind about him. There were a couple of story line threads that didn’t get resolved and the epilogue seemed to hint at something else. Again, extra characters that did not move the story along at all. They were more of a distraction that anything else.
The best part of this book was Lola finally taking control. Even though she wasn’t exactly sure of what she was getting herself into, SHE was making decisions, instead of decisions being made for her.
Favorite Quote: Chapter 6
“If ever there was a rose as beautiful as you, I’d plant it in my garden for when my days were blue. And I’d sit there and watch it, all the days through. Because that rose in my garden – well, it would remind me of you.”
