Let me get this out of the way first…. THE ENDING…. OMGoodness!!! What a tease!!!
Okay, back to business. Can I say I was nervous that Neela wouldn’t have her HEA? This poor girl is put through the ringer in book 2 of the Heiress Duet. But Nana Malone, as usual, has a plan. And that plan is to show us how badass a woman can be.
Tempting the Heiress picks up exactly where Protecting the Heiress left off, Neela finding out about Jax’s real identity. Even though in the back of her mind she had been questioning him as a manny the entire time, she still felt betrayed by his lies the most, since they had become intimate. But instead of letting that pull her into a black hole, it inspired her to take charge of her life and figure out this mess herself.
Now for this twist, because you know there is a twist. THE. TWIST. Round of applause for this , I won’t spoil, you have to read. But this moment is when the ride goes from 65mph to 100mph and does not let up.
All I can say is good characters, good story, good writing.
