What and awesome story!
I totally get Mari. She can hold on to a grudge until the end of time and that is sooo relatable. And like me, sometimes that is to her detriment. But she is a strong woman and knows what she wants and goes for it.
Colin is a little more laid back, until he’s not. Once he decides he’s not going to let Mari run from or dismiss him, he steps up BIG TIME. The fact that he doesn’t shy away from his past actions and owns up to what he did says alot about a person.
The danger and suspense are off the charts in this book and then ending was a bit of a surprise.
Really enjoyed this one.
