Absolutely loved it! Loved EVERYTHING about it!
I had preconceived notions of Avery in Trace from the small feature in Forbidden and boy was I wrong.
Not sure what I expected from Avery, but it definitely wasn’t this siren of a woman. She goes after what she wants and accepts all responsibility for her actions.
And Yes, Trace should be cautious, due to his history, but that he was willing to bow out so easily, well, that was not on my bingo card for this book.
I’m hoping we get an opportunity to see the Hayes family get their comeuppance.
