This story might just be the best example of friends to lovers.
The best parts of this love story is that both Rebel and Weston were genuinely happy for each other and their respective accomplishments. They didn’t let their secret love for each other sour their friendship. They made sure to keep in touch with each other throughout the years so that when they finally met up again, it was as if no time had passed.
This would not be a Katie Reus book without that danger element, and this one delivers. I was surprised at who the culprit ultimately was, but I like being kept on my toes.
