I’ve enjoyed all the books in the Cowboy State Lawmen series, and I know there is one more book to go, but THIS ..right now…is my favorite book in the series.
It has EVERYTHING!! Forbidden love, intrigue, deception, twists, turns and then when you think is over… there’s MORE!
The writing in this book is masterful. The villains are villainous and the good guys truly wear white hats.
Rocco and Mercy are THE couple to root for. You feel all of Mercy’s confusion and struggles and Rocco, well, you definitely understand the tough decisions he has to make.
I finished this book and immediately re-read it, because it’s JUST. THAT. GOOD.
