The first book in the Cowboy State Lawmen series sets the stage really well. This little town has a lot of secrets.
Nash and Lynn’s story is a doozy. It jumps right into action on page one and never lets up. What I found interesting is Lynn’s character is a therapist and is all about talking through your feelings, yet she is the one, the entire story, who is running away from her feelings and Nash.
I definitely did not see the twist coming and those page turning events towards the end of the book had me enthralled.
The cast of supporting characters is top notch and I’m sure some of them will have their own stories soon. This one is a keeper.
