So…lots to unpack in the finale. The secrets that were unveiled were ALOT. All the things start to make sense, but it was one curve after another after another.
This book was waay more introspective than the previous. It wasn’t short on sensuality or action, but some of the chapters went a little long because of the inner dialogue the characters were having with themselves.
It was a good read in that all the questions were answered and the “mystery” was resolved. The final confrontation with Middleton seemed a little rushed, but the finale with Edgerton made up for it.
