Review:
I’ve finally gotten the time to sit down and read a few books during my brief holiday break.
Book 1 in the Fugitive Heroes series is the first in my Juno binge reading. I already knew about the CIA operation that went wrong from the 2nd book. I was surprised when this book was actually about Hope and her search to find her sister’s killer and not Gage and his need to clear his name.
At the heart, this book is about trust. Hope trusted Gage after he saved her life and Gage trusted Hope not only with his family, but also with the biggest most dangerous secret in his life. Ultimately, their trust in each other helped solve Faith’s murder and hopefully will help Gage get his life back.
MVP Character: Jason
Jason is the real MVP in this story – even if he is mistaken about Uncle Monte.
