The 2nd book on the Flashpoint series focuses on our boy Logan and returned home town girl Isabel.
This is a small town with big dreams and dreamers. Both Logan and Isabel dream big. The difference between the two is that Isabel thinks she needs the bright lights and big city like NY and LA to make it big. Logan is content to “make it big” right where he is.
I think that’s the crux of their dilemma. Not to mention Logan doesn’t trust Isabel to stick around. Isabel hasn’t been exactly honest about her time away. She hasn’t outright lied, just heavily blurred reality.
They both have scarred childhoods and Isabel didn’t exactly leave on the best terms. Their renewed friendship and relationship helps heal old wounds and also helps them finally grow into the potential they’ve both been hiding.
