I’m going to start towards the end – I can’t believe he knew the ENTIRE time.
OK now back to the beginning. I enjoyed how Darius and Isobel “met”, before they knew who each other were. Once the lights came on, all bets were off.
The read was easy and kept me entertained. I was hoping Darius would see through the lies first, but if there’s no angst in a romance, is it really a romance? I also really like how Isobel was made into a strong character. Even though she went endured a lot for the sake of her son, in the end, she knew her worth.
There’s a slight twist that made me say WHAT? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
