Review:
Although the cliff-hanger kept me intrigued enough to finish this series, the rest of the story just didn’t do it for me.
I honestly felt like I was reading a re-imagining of Fifty Shades except Christian had kids and there was no kink. There was even a drunk dialing/convo scene.
I never did feel that connection between the characters. I was hoping their relationship would blossom in book two, but it just didn’t for me. The characters were a tad 1 dimensional and the conversations kept repeating themselves, just in different settings.
