Going Under is the second book in the Wildfire Lake series. It features KT and Dr. Ben.
The story really focuses on KT’s growth. She’s at a turning point in her life and making decisions for her future. Her mind has been set on a specific path for so long, she’s not sure if it’s really what she still wants.
Ben’s character is the ultimate book boyfriend. He’s kind, considerate, and VERY understanding of KT’s hopes and dreams. He loves her independence and doesn’t stand in the way of what she wants.
This was a sweet book with a little angst. The addition of the children helped keep it pretty light. There’s some small interactions with Chloe and Laiyla, but not as much as in the first book.
I was actually surprised at the ending of the book, I just knew it was going to go another route.
