The 2nd book in the Lick series starts off with a bang… It’s a little more intense than the first book, as there are demons both Sasha and Corinne are running from.
From the beginning you know this story is going to be a bit darker than the 1st book in this series. The first encounter between Sasha and Corinne is extremely erotic, and dangerous for them both should anyone find out. I think that is part of the attraction at first, just that bite of danger. The taboo. However, neither expected feelings to get involved.
I like how with each book gives us insight into the friendship of Sasha, Rion, and Killian.
