The 3rd book in the Lick series features Killian and Gabriella and they haven’t seen each other in five years.
There is so much animosity from Killian that I wasn’t sure if they would ever get their HEA. Of course, his anger was warranted, but he wouldn’t even listen to her to let her explain why she did what she did. At one point I wanted to hit him over the head for making everything so difficult.
Since Killian had been an enigma from the beginning, I was really looking forward to his story and enjoyed this book. I know each book is a standalone, but I kinda wanted a little more interaction with all the characters throughout the story, not just at the end.
Good series and enjoyable read.
