Review:
This had the potential to be a good story, but the characters were annoying and the story line was predictable. Mackenzie wouldn’t take charge of anything and let Donovan lead her by her nose. Donavan just whined the entire book about being abandoned. Not to mention, there was zero chemistry. The “drama” with Renee was a bit contrived. That’s where I thought the meat of the story was going, but her character was pushed aside pretty early on. She was brought back in towards the end to create conflict between the main characters, that honestly wasn’t really relevant anymore. At the end, I didn’t really care if they got together or not.
