The Billionaire’s Legacy is the 2nd book in the Bourbon Brothers series. It is Benji and Sloane’s story. First, their aren’t too many older women/younger men books that I have read, so I did enjoy that aspect of the story. Plus, the author didn’t make the story revolve around the age difference. It was brought up a few times, but for the most part was an afterthought in their relationship.
This story takes the place during about a year and half of this couple’s life. I was glad that everything didn’t just get resolved after a few weeks time. Between Benji and his family, Sloane and Benji’s sister, Sloane and her family, there were too many relationships that needed to be repaired and a few weeks time just would not have cut it.
The characters were honest about their feelings, both good and bad, and that made for a really good read.
Up next is Parker, who I’ve been waiting for since Book 1.
Funniest Scene: Chapter 8
The entire scene with the prospective nanny, Livvie, just had me rolling.
