Finally!

Mercy picks up exactly where Secrets left off. Mama Blackwood back in the picture. I kind of figured out part of the conspiracy towards the end of book 1. Thought I had it figured out by the end of Book 2. Totally blew my mind at the end of this book everything that has and is being done to keep these two souls apart.

As with the previous 2 books, Mercy is a raw wound that doesn’t quite get the chance to heal properly before something happens to re-open it. Just when you think Anthony and Ivy are back on track and ready to move forward with their lives, BOOM a new threat.

I enjoyed the secondary characters alot in this story. They really added depth to the story line and the main characters. This is a heavily emotional story and these other characters are brought in to lighten the mood for just a little bit. Giving us, and the characters a bit of a respite from melodrama.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series and look forward to more of the Blackwood Men.

Favorite Quote: Chapter 18

“You are the compass of my life.. You give me hope that tomorrow’s going to be better than today. You believe I’m enough-not my money, not my influence, just me. If everything I have goes up in flames, you’ll be by my side, your feelings still the same. So how can you not be the most important thing in my life? Losing you would be like getting my heart ripped out.” ~Anthony Blackwood
