Book Blurb:
She’s the only sister in a family of alpha males. Loved, treasured, and sheltered by her brothers, Kat McClain is working to heal the pain of a failed marriage to a man she loved from her teenage years and move on with her life, but she’s a woman, she has needs, and she is understandably lonely.
Tommy Kirby has protected her brother since he was barely a man and has been a silent staple in the McClain family for just as long. He loves his job and his life, is loyal to his employer, but more than anything, he wants a family of his own.
Perhaps these two are exactly what the other desires.

Review:
Book 3.5 in the Mclain series is a novella featuring Tommy and Kathryn
Tommy and Kathryn’s HEA was featured toward the end of book 3 (Nolan’s story), so this is how they got to that point.
Kathryn’s character is very brash. She works for her brother, owns her own business, and has been trying to divorce her cheating husband for over a year. Other than missing her mother, she just didn’t seem warm and fuzzy to me.
Tommy, who has been in all the books so far, seems like a gentle giant. He protects the family, sends money home to take care of his mother and sister, and even has dreams of owning his own security firm one day. Maybe because he takes care of everyone around him,. he likes Kat bossing him around all the time. With four over bearing brothers, Kat had to give as good as she got, so being mean and bossy is just how she is.
They seemed to fall in love by accident. The majority of the book was them just having sex, not really having an emotional connection, the bam, I love you. It just seemed a little forced. Not to mention that in all the time they were fooling around only one person figured it out? The brothers seem a little sharper than that, so I was a little disappointed that they were all “shocked” when they found Kat and Tommy were an item.
The last book is Neil.. he’s the one I’ve been waiting on since reading book 1.
Question of the Series:
Will we ever meet Uncle Lee’s wife Lou? Is she real or Memorex?
