Review:

This is Kendra and Nate’s story. We met Kendra in the first book. She was giving fantastic advice when her sister was going through her trials and tribulations with Liam. Unfortunately, Kendra doesn’t take her own advice.

She’s so afraid of getting hurt and being bitter like her mother, she has completely shut Nate out. I just wanted to bop her over the head. He hadn’t done anything it was just the thought that he might do something that has her all in a hissy.

Nate is a good guy and I give him props for sticking around and staying the course with Kendra. He is a hot head and it gets him into trouble, but he loves with his entire heart.

This was a nice read. It was also good to check in with Maya and Liam. We also meet Nate’s twin sister Vi and her “dude” Jase. Now that’s a story I wouldn’t mind reading.

MVP Character: Marcus Johnston

Character: Marcus Johnston
Relationship: Nate's brother
Occupation: Nate's sports agent

If it wasn't for Marcus, Nate would be lonely and in
more hot water than he's already in. Even though they
are related, he isn't afraid to tell Nate how it is.
He takes care of family and business.
