World traveler Ace Kathan is always down for a thrill. So when his G-Ma, Mama Peaches, asks him to explain his date he’s happy to explain an extravagant one. Review:
I’ve been looking forward to the novellas in this series for a few months now. Although the books are connected via the bachelor auction, each novella is independent of each other.
Destiny, fate, chance… words that describe the inevitable relationship between Ace and Cadence. At first glance, you would think they were oil and water. He’s all about the outdoors and being one with nature. She has had a silver spoon since birth and her idea of roughing it is a rooftop garden terrace. A modern day Green Acres. Looks can be deceiving as well as preconceptions.
I laughed pretty much throughout this story. Cadence is hilarious and I love the fact that she stuck to her guns and refused to let Ace intimidate her. As for Ace, I wanted to hit him up side the head a few times while reading this story.
This is a new author for me and I hope to see more from this talented author. This story was well written, funny, and an easy read.
Favorite Scene: Chapter 1
This chapter is dedicated to the bachelor auction and hilarity ensues.
I would like to know about the “incident” that is put in the lost years box.
