Book Blurb:
Logan “Bruiser” Brassard and Meadow Ryan are no strangers to heartache, loss, and trauma. When they met as foster children, they both bore deep scars from the horrors life had inflicted. Although their time together at the group home was brief, they never forgot each other.
Fast forward fifteen years, and Meadow is an unemployed social worker down on her luck. Logan is an NHL superstar who can’t keep himself out of the penalty box. When he’s not brawling on the ice, he’s living up to his reputation as a notorious manwhore.
When Meadow arrives in Denver for a job interview, the attraction that sizzles between her and Logan is too hot to ignore. With his panty-melting smile, badass tattoos, and muscles for days, he’s the embodiment of sin and temptation. But she has no interest in becoming one of his discarded puck bunnies. She’s there for a job and nothing more.
But Logan has other plans for Meadow, and he’s not giving up without a fight. As their friendship deepens into something powerful, a blissful future suddenly seems within reach. Until they’re blindsided by shattering secrets from the past—secrets that could destroy their one true shot at happiness.
WARNING: This book contains sensitive themes involving past sexual abuse.

Review:
Sin Bin is the 3rd book in the Denver Rebels series. This book features Logan and Meadow (AKA) Jupiter. As with the other books in the series, it is an interracial romance book that is big in size, sensitive subject matter, drama, and sex.
Within the confines of the romance, Sin Bin moves the conversation of race as it pertains to ancestry and understanding one’s own self identity. Both Logan and Meadow were orphans for a time before being adopted and wanted to know their lineage. They also interact with new and old friends who have their own opinions on dating within and outside their own race. Again, some of the conversations are uncomfortable and polarizing, but they need to be had.
The entire case of characters are present in this book as well as some new faces. This hockey team is a family. When one of them has a problem, everyone steps in to support and protect. Logan is a true loose cannon, and most of the drama in this book is caused by his hair trigger reactions to situations. Meadow on the other hand is living life in the shadows ( or trying to). Her drama starts when she tries to step out on faith and live her life in plain sight. Although their childhood trauma initially brought these two together, love is what will keep them together.
There are several secondary characters who get some screen time and a little romance in this book. Jess continues to make her presence felt along with her gold digging ways, and Meadow’s father and aunt also find love. Hunter’s book is next, and we meet his love interest, The Duchess. She is Logan’s adopted sister and the sparks are already flying.
Once again a top notch book, from a top notch author.
Favorite Scene: Chapter 25
“I love you,” he whispered fervently against her bare skin. “I’ve loved you ever since I was ten years old. I’ve loved you for so long I can’t remember a time when I didn’t.”
“So, yeah, I need you desperately in my life, and I’m not above fighting dirty to keep you right by my side.”
~Logan – Sin Bin
